Deep Etude is an etude of embodied polyrhythms. It is a piece of dance and a piece of music where one and the other are both separable and inseparable in the ear-eye of the beholder. Central to the work is an attempt to describe in movement what it is to listen to rhythm, as a phenomenological description in the shape of a dance.
