Mining Stories is a documentary theatre performance by Silke Huysmans and Hannes Dereere following a mining disaster in the region of Minas Gerais in Brazil where Huysmans grew up as a child. Through interviews collected both in Europe and in Brazil, an intriguing journey unfolds visiting several topics such as memory, politics, religion and storytelling.
